Scotland’s white Achmelvich Beach

I started with black so I’ll end with pure white. Achmelvich Beach is made up of finely crushed seashells. The process here is very similar to that at work in Hahei beach, but the shells feeding this beach are white rather than pink. It’s a beach that wouldn’t look out of place in the Caribbean, though the moody weather in my photos gives its location away!
